If you are  wanting to increase the security level of your new gates you can choose to include Railheads. These are steel rails with decorative spiked finials such as a Fleur De Lis or Spear Head styles to deter people from climbing over the gates. They also work well with pigeons!
Most commonly sprayed black but can also be galvanised.
