The above Oak gates were refurbished by us, stripping down all the old timber, finishing with a fresh coat of oil and re hanging on new bespoke Oak posts.
Iroko and seasoned European Oak are extremely durable hardwood timbers with excellent longevity. Seasoned Oak has good stability and character and is more consistent in colour than Iroko which can have variations in colour but has exceptional stability. Both timbers with naturally weather down over a period of time to a silver grey colour or can be oiled.
